The Story...
In September of 2020, this American-- who happened to live in Columbia County Oregon-- was suffering from extremely low blood sugar & depression, probably because he had been out of work for many months, he had not eaten in days, he was depressed because he was alone, his phone & internet were shut off, and his bank account had run dry. Keep in mind, there were no stimulus checks for him. He refused to take help from others as everyone was suffering and he did not want to be a burden to anyone. The sum-total of all those factors, combined with the low blood sugar, put him into a very dark place which peaked in September of 2020.
After giving away his possessions in the morning, “his truck, family heirlooms and other valuables” to friends, he decided to paddle across to the sandbar in Washington (directly across from Pixie Park). He knew the sandbar well, it was a favorite hangout of his, a place where he could be alone, take pictures, and meditate. His You Tube channel has many videos of him on the Washington Sandbar across from Pixie Park!
Wearing only a swimsuit (nothing else for clothes), the person—a person in crisis-- laid back on the sandbar, struggling to breathe due to the immense smoke that day. Laying there, he waited for sunset. The headache, exhaustion and low blood sugar finally caught up with him, and he fell asleep listening to his departed mother’s favorite song, “Love is Blue, by Paul Mauriat (circa 1968)”.
Unbeknownst to the person in crisis, someone had called the Columbia City police out of concern. Evidently, someone actually cared about this person after all. The Columbia City police (standing at Pixie Park) quickly located the person in WA (as noted in their police report) and called the Columbia County Sheriffs with a request to intercept him. It’s worth noting that the Columbia County Sheriff’s Deputies could not find the person and were forced to MAKE AN ADDITIONAL PHONE CALL TO THE COLUMBIA CITY POLICE in order to ascertain a precise location. The person was in fact in Washington, on the sandbar, across from Pixie Park, not on the North end of Sand Island in Oregon miles away!
It’s worth noting, on a clear day, if you stand on the beach at Pixie Park, and you look upstream (south) towards St. Helens, while you can see Sand Island, you sure as hell cannot make out a person standing on the beach with a kayak. The distance is just too far, you need powerful binoculars to make that type of observation.
Finally, the Columbia County Sheriff Deputies intercepted the person in crisis, in WA on the sandbar across from Pixie Park. They found him sleeping on the sandbar in WA.
What followed is the reason for this story…
The Columbia County Deputies should have taken this person into custody for a health check up (clearly something was wrong medically with him that day). However, instead of extracting him from the scene, instead of diffusing the situation, instead of helping him with medical aid, food/water, they chose instead to follow another course of action. The Deputies began to ridicule him, make fun of him, harass him, they even tried to provoke him to anger. The harassment became so intense, the person felt he had no choice but to jump into his kayak and drift downstream to get away from the heckling and bad behavior of the officers. They let a person with extremely low blood sugar, someone who was obviously suffering a crisis get into a kayak on the most dangerous river on the West Coast during a firestorm where visibility was next to nothing. They never called the County Health Department, they violated all the rules of conduct, and they certainly failed to protect & to serve! Go read the reports for yourself, keep in mind, they omitted the part where they tried to provoke the person to anger! However, they admitted to this 3 days later.
The person in crisis had no life vest at this point (it was left on the Sandbar as a result of his haste to vacate the sandbar due to the insane harassment by the Columbia County Officers).
The Deputies trailed the person, continuing to provoke and insult him. Once Cowlitz County Deputies arrived (via boat) the Columbia County boats disengaged. The Cowlitz County Deputies treated the person with utmost respect, gave him water, gave him a life vest. They told him, “Hey, we know who you are, you are a good guy, stay in the fight of life!”
It was now getting very dark. The person was having a tough time breathing due to smoke, and no asthma medicine, not to mention, low blood sugar, lack of energy & dehydration. The person then paddled from the Washington side directly over to the Oregon side (3.33 miles downstream from Pixie Park), and beached on what he calls Goat Island. Keep in mind, he was at least 75 miles from the Pacific!
The Cowlitz County Deputies called the Columbia County Deputies, and said something like, “Hey, he is beached on the island, he is not really moving, he is just lying next to his kayak in the sand”.
Columbia County Deputies never bothered to dispatch a boat to rescue the person. That person remained there ALL NIGHT, wearing only a swimsuit, no food, no drinkable water, no shelter. It was smokey, cold, & windy.
The next day, around daybreak, being too exhausted to drag his kayak into the water, the person began making his way back home to Columbia City. It took him 6 hours to walk and swim home. He was dry heaving, dizzy, chilled to the bone and having a very difficult time breathing. Being severely hypothermic, dehydrated, exhausted and cut/bruised, he managed to make his way back home.
Three days later, his now wife, took him to the Columbia County Sheriff’s station where the person directly asked the deputies involved (and the wife heard the response), “Why did you try to provoke me to anger, I needed help?” The response from one Deputy, Haas, was, “well, we wanted to reach a different outcome!”.
The person lived in Columbia City for another 8 months (post September incident), then finally moved away with his, now, wife.
A year and a half later, the person learns the DA is charging him with attempted assault. For what exactly? Why was he not charged the very day of the incident? Do police officers let people go that try to assault them??? Why was he not charged 3 days later when he went to the Sheriff Deputies station to ask them why they tried to provoke him to anger? Why was he not charged anytime in the following 8 months? Why was he charged when he asked for his property back a year and a half later? Can you say corruption?
It’s clear and factual, the Deputies reports from Columbia County, as well as the police reports from Columbia City and also the reports from the Deputies in Cowlitz County tell the tale and expose the lies of the Columbia County Deputies. (1) Columbia County Deputies knew the person was in WA because they called Columbia City Police for the exact location, yet, the Columbia County Deputy(s) reports as well as the charging instrument from the DA claim the person was in Oregon .25 miles north of Sand Island (this is impossible). There is no Sandbar .25 miles North of Sand Island, just 60 to 80 feet of water. (2) The Columbia City Police report says that Columbia County Deputies let him go, because “he was not cooperating”, the report makes no mention of attempted assault. (3) The Columbia County Sheriffs Deputy report was APPROVED 3 MONTHS before it was written, it was written 4 months after the incident. (4) The charges could have been filed anytime, why did they wait a year and a half to the day when the person asked for his property back which the officers took?
If you look at the last page of Deputy Sgt. Haas report (Columbia County Sheriff Deputy), he says, and I quote, “We eventually let him continue to paddle towards the Pacific Ocean.”
Tell me, what type of law enforcement officer would deny a person (suffering a medical crisis), medical care? What type of officer would try to provoke a person in medical crisis to anger on a smokey day in the middle of a pandemic. What type of officer would allow a person in crisis wearing only a swimsuit with no life vest to go free on the most dangerous river on the West Coast with visibility less than half a mile, with sunset approaching, with no food, or water? What type of officer would elect to NOT recover the person when Cowlitz County called them to inform them that the person is laying on the beach and is not moving?” What type of DA would charge a person for attempted assault (which did not happen), but let the officers get away with horrible behavior and almost murder by dereliction of duty, gross negligence, and reckless behavior?
I can tell you truthfully, the person in crisis, me (now recovered and happy) personally believes that the Columbia County Sheriff’s department is filthy dirty! Judge this on the facts, judge for yourself! Go reads the reports by Columbia City Police, Columbia County Deputies, and Cowlitz County Deputies.
The COWLITZ COUNTY CAD Reports reveal some interesting facts, like COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFFS REPORTING THAT THERE WERE NO CRIMES INVOLVED IN THIS INCIDENT. Also, take notice of the distance from the shore (150-200) feet from WA shore. I was not on the Oregon side of the river as Fiebich and Haas claimed!
The Columbia City Police Report states EXACTLY where I was (WA, not OR), so why did Sgt. Haas & Deputy Fiebich lie in their reports by stating my location .25 miles North of Sand Island in St. Helens on a sand bar that does not exist??? The only thing there is 60 to 80 feet of water. They lied in an attempt to establish jurisdiction when they had none!
Notice that Sgt. Haas admits in his report... "We went to Pixie Park, located your truck, and looked across the river at the sand bar, and found you". Yet he states I was .25 miles North of Sand Island.
When you add up ALL THE LIES, contradictions, false statements, and errors in their reports (things like report dates & times), it can only mean one thing... They are dirty cops, and Columbia County has a big problem with corruption! But if you live there, you already knew that!
How many other people have they done this to?
Check out the reports, take the detective challenge, win $200 American dollars.
Simple truth’s we all embrace: When law enforcement abuses their power, when they harass the people, when they try to provoke people to anger to reach a different outcome (favorable to a prosecution), when they take unethical actions to increase their win/loss ratio for court prosecutions (abandoning truth & adopting lies), when they endanger the lives of the very people they swore to protect & to serve, then, there is a huge problem for the community.
Any truthful observer will conclude that government corruption is everywhere (Federal, State, County, City). We see it with the Biden Administration, with Kate Brown, and even in other Counties (Maricopa AZ). Consider the recent case in Santa Clara County CA where a Sheriff was just prosecuted and found guilty of bribes, unethical behavior, and corruption that went on for years! That Sheriff is now barred from holding public office. Now ask yourself, based on your experience in Columbia County, have you seen corruption? Would it surprise you to learn that some attorneys in the Portland area as well as some external law enforcement entities have admitted that there is a problem in Columbia County? The settlements of cases where people were injured or mistreated should be of interest to you. Are you even aware of these cases?
Consider 2020… If you recall, Oregon was in the midst of catastrophic firestorms, a pandemic, crazy mask mandates, and various lockdowns and working restrictions which isolated people and drove up suicide rates in Oregon and across the nation. In September of 2020 many people in Oregon were having a tough time making ends meet, and many small businesses were deemed NON-ESSENTIAL and were forced to close. Meanwhile, Walmart, the cannabis stores & the liquor stores were allowed to remain open. Keep them high, keep them depressed and keep them isolated. Forced isolation by our fearless leader-- Kate Brown-- was causing havoc with many people across the societal spectrum, mostly poor & middle class business owners. However, even the Churches (a protected entity according to the Constitution) were prohibited from holding gatherings. In actual fact, in November of 2020 (in Oregon), you could go to jail for having 6 or more friends over for Thanksgiving Dinner, but possessing small amounts of cocaine, heroin & pain killers was a non-arrestable offense!
During this time, the ass-hat politicians frequently dined out in fancy restaurants without masks! Indeed, 2020 will be remembered as the year the governing elite came out of the “tyranny-closet” and flaunted their disdain for the public by breaking the Covid rules they enacted under emergency powers & decree. The motto of the elite seemed to be “Do as we say, not as we do, or else!”. Without a doubt, the events of 2020 are clear indicators that corruption is alive & well. Another example of corruption would be the repeated election issues across the nation. Just remember, even the Roman Empire (2000 years ago) was able to successfully execute elections to represent the will of the people using nothing more than wood tokens, buckets and a public ledger. If you still think mail in ballots and computers are a tool for achieving a fair election, I must question your IQ level and critical thinking skills.
Federal Corruption Also Exists: In August of 2020 a Federal Court erroneously sentenced a certain American Patriot, Christian, and Trump supporting Pro-Lifer to “probation” for failing to file a tax return in a high profile case that relied on USC 42 Chapter 21B. Keep in mind, a Federal jury of 12 people refused to find this person guilty, probably because the judge literally ignored the federal law that proved his innocence. Again, all 12 jurors refused to find him guilty, and the judge disobeyed USC 42 Chapter 21B (The Religious Freedom Restoration Act) in order to allow the government to avoid its responsibility under law! The case was appealed and is now at the Supreme Court of the United States.

UPDATE: THE DA DISMISSED THE CASE!
The Sheriff's Department & DA in Columbia County Oregon have serious issues! How many innocent people have they screwed over?
UPDATE: My wife and I took a polygraph test, conducted by an ex FBI Agent that happens to be a licensed investigative detective in AZ.
Guess what, we both passed with flying colors! Will the deputies involved do the same?
